Published Poems (: 5 any 5 poems~

Original Poetry Slam Poem

Everyday it kills me and it lingers inside,
the love i held for you since the
first day we caught eyes.
I knew that I had to talk to you but all that came out was,
“hey, how’s it going. bye!”
I really wish I could be the one that you’re thinking about,
each waking second and nothing more.
You, You, I, I, naw that can never be.
I’ll never have the guts to confess my love and you’ll just tell me to leave.
But the truth is, I’ll be forever dreaming of my spiraling doves of love towards thee.

Rewrite of Poetry Slam Poem

Each single day it haunts me and it creeps within,
my heart bled for you after the deep glances of our reflections.
Something called your name inside of me but I did not send a very great impression,
"hey, how's it going. good bye!"
I wonder if you notice me each waking second that passes in your mind,
my mind too, you, you, I, I, psh ha. how could that be?
One day you'll soon see the sunlight from the person I am, however, you might reject.
It's alright though, my heart will continue to bleed for you within the circle of life for eternity.

Original from packet - Limitless Love <3

Flying to Germany to finally meet my honey,
As we embrace in the Luggage lanes.
He gave me a candy cane because it was Christmas time and it was flavored lime!
Sweet, Sweet,
Smell of snow and I said, "I heart you so much, you know?"

Rewrite of Original from packet - Limitless Love <3

Soaring across the sea to faraway a place, 7-10 hours away, Germany is the name.
Honey, he, mine, we, first meeting? oh yes, finally!
We gave each other a warm welcome in the limitless love world of ours.
It was Christmas time, smelled of lime and it was in fact a candy cane.
Oh BB, the scent of snow and the words fluttering in the air, "love of U and I, I definitely care."

Original from packet - The Strength To Live On.

I am a Lion
Fierce and beautiful
I am a Lion
Lazy and playful
I am a Lion
free but at times caged
I am a Lion
hear me roar!
I am a Lion
death may silence.

Rewrite of Original from packet - The Strength To Live On.

I am a Lion
Fierce to the point of not surrendering and beautiful inside and out.
I am a Lion
Lazy to the point of not doing anything and playful to rough housing.
I am a Lion
Free to roam across the globe if that was possible and caged for many to see.
I am a Lion
hear my mighty fine voice, "Roar!"
I am a Lion
death may silence me but death will make me strong.

Original from packet - Gray and White day in May.

Sunshines on this gray and white day
in the middle of may,
oh! the pollen from the hay,
Hey I say to a fellow named Kay
As the road laid
hot and warm as the cars
drift pass under the bridge
that breathed like a fridge
and back to the gray and white day
in the middle of may.

Rewrite Original from packet - Gray and White Day in May.

Beams of light flow upon this grey and white day,
during the middle of the beautiful month of may,
Tiny particles of the earth lifted by the wind from the hay,
"HELLO!!" I yell to a man who laid on the fresh grass named kay, he responded back, "GOOD DAY GOOD DAY."
As the cement laid upon the earth's surface,
the humidity from the car engines burned across and left it to cooled liked a fridge,
under the narrow upside down 'U' shape of the bridge.
Once again, comes the beams of light flowing upon this grey and white day,
during the middle of the beautiful month of may.

Original from packet - Everyone is not the same.

Unique is what humans are.
Unique makes us different.
Unique does not define perfect.
Perfect does not define unique.
Unique is individuals.
No one is exactly alike.
We are who makes up us.
Science plays a partial part.
But not 100%.
Unique is human.

Rewrite Original from packet - Everyone is not the same.

Human are what you call Unique.
It makes us different,
is not the definition of perfect,
And perfect, definitely does not define unique since there is no such thing. (Unless you are an alien ;P)
Individuals are what we are and that makes me uniquely human.
Humans are not suppose to be alike, even if you are a type of twin.
We are all born to be ourselves and no one esle.
Partial part has to do with chemicals and their reactions,
however, not all of it.
Human are what you call Unique and nothing more. You are You. I am me.

Spring Break "Adventure"

"It's only saturday and spring break has begun!!"
She woke up and thoughts continued to pounder in her head as the sun light creeped through her window shades, into her room. She rubbed her eyes as they gently open. She gazed around the room a little and smiled, got right up and went to get ready for the day. After that, she decided to read up on some newsfeed on her facebook. As she scrolled up and down reading posts from others, not realizing that her friend 'Ping-ed' her. What is that? is that the music?, -laughed to herself as she switched to the other tab on the browser. But then there it was again, Ping. She switched back to facebook and saw that someone was messaging her, it was her friend Jeffrey(from UK she met off of youtube) saying hey. They started to chat like they usually do with the, Hey what's up? how are you? really?! I'm glad your day went well!....etc. then Jeffrey brings up about youtube videos on her channel and asked her to make more videos since it has been several months since she has uploaded some. She laughed and smiled at the screen as she pressed away on the keyboard. It is spring break after all, I did say I would make more videos....yeah, i'll do it :D, she thought to herself as her conversation with Jeffrey continued.
As they talked an talked, time slipped away, it was still early morning where she was at but jeffery had to go to bed because of the time difference. Both of them said their good-byes and that's when she started to create her first spring break video. She spent most of her spring break making videos on youtube and did not expect her videos to go over 83 views in a week's time. It was a fun spring break and that's when she felt that making videos periodically would not be so bad after all. (: it was fun and a happy vent of feelings at the same time. ^^

Whacky Friday March 11th 2011

The room unexplored within a school that anna, carl, and i found was the new copy room. Over the past year, the old copy room was turned into another classroom.

Description: Large grey doors on the outside and very gloomy looking within....reminded me of a warehouse. It smelled a bit funny too....

Lights were dim until the back where it was bright but nothing so fancy like a normal classroom. The floors were grey toned like within a drive way at a car-auto repair shop. It just reminded me of a scene(the red toned one where the girl is trying to wake up from her dream but cannot) in the movie of "freddie and jason."

Soundtrack to my life. ~ Due: Friday March 11th

Link to Song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSZf4gxlmXw&safety_mode=true&persist_safety_mode=1

Meaningful Lyrics:
繁华如三千东流水 (pinyin: fan hua ru san qian dong liu shui.)
我只取一瓢爱了解 (pinyin: wo zhi qu yi piao ai liao jie.)
只恋你化身的蝶 (pinyin: zhi lian ni hua shen de die.)
你发如雪 凄美了离别 (pinyin: ni fa ru xue / qi mei le li bie.)
我焚香感动了谁 (pinyin: wo fen xiang gan dong le shui.)
邀明月让回忆皎洁 (pinyin: yao ming yue rang hui yi jiao jie.)
爱在月光下完美 (pinyin: ai zai yue guang xia wan mei.)

Translation:
Grandeur is like three thousand waters flowing south
Yet I only choose a ladle of love to comprehend
Only long for your butterfly incarnation
Your hair is like snow, making our parting chillingly beautiful
Who's moved by my (offerings of) incense?
Inviting the full moon to highlight my memories
Love becomes pure beneath the moonlight

Association#1: I remember listening to this song after a couple years my mother passed, even though this song is of two lovers and hoping that this will not be the last time seeing them. In chinese culture, when a love one passes away; most chinese people believe that even if they are not in human form anymore, their spirit incarnates into an insect or an animal ( butterflies, moths, dragon flies, etc) to be with their families or friends to protect and watch over until they are willing to move on (re-carnation.) My mom passed away peacefully but I'm always so scared that I will forget about her, even to this day. Memories will always live on. I revisit this song every week ever since 2006( first time listening to this song ) to remind me that she will always be with me no matter what. I love her so and hope she knows that. 媽媽, 你在我心永恆,直到我的生命也就結束了.

Association#2: (This song is one of those songs that you cannot, cannot get out of your head after the first time listening to it. Then goes the "pressing the play button to death" x10. haha. This song is very popular in Asia because the feel of it is similar to olden days and meaningful lyrics along with it. also, it makes you think about life in general-> what the purpose in life is and those love ones around you. Even though this is an older song. ) It popped up the most last year(by coincidence): Summer 2010, I went to asia for the first time and this was one of the songs that they has on the international airplane. Taxi driver listened to it while driving from the airport to the hotel. Then I reheard this song back at the hotel on the AsiaMTV network two days after the arrival. It was so weird, so coincidental because this is an older song. It pops up in the car when I forgot that I placed it on the CD I made back in 2007. I listen to it when I have a bad day or argument with a friend (to cool down and think about what was wrong, why did we fight in the first place, was the fight worth breaking a friendship?), and the list can go on and on. This song is just very important in my life. You could say this song is sums up most of the things that has been/ is in my life. (:

Association#3: My cousin christina, one of my best friends ever since we were babies in the cribs, and I would play this song and sing along to it (in the car and when we hangout) each time a new season comes around each year(summer, fall, winter, spring.) Isn't that just dandy? hahah, we love jay chou and all of his songs but especially this one and also his other song 'Secret I cannot Tell' from a drama he filmed. We would go back to it during year or week if we just want to vent to each other about anything and everything too. I don't know, this song just has a huge impact on us and everything/ everyone that comes into our life. haha. :3 ^___^ It's just a song that brings people together and it also reminds us about our ethnicity/nationality plus culture too-> ( present day to way back in history. ) (>^.^<)

Part 2: Creative Nonfiction Assignment.

Throughout my entire life, my family has been there for me. I cannot ask for more and very grateful to even have them beside me. I recall many times when I had impact-ful/important conversations with them, especially my father and eldest brother. As a little girl, I never really understood much until things happen within the family, such as my mother passing away. (short snippet of the actual story) I remember my father, brothers, and external families on both my father and mother's side being there, watching my mother in the hospital. But before that, my dad told me that my mom was going to go away and never come back. I was shocked, I didn't know what was happening and kept asking 'what's going on? why was mother leaving us? did I do something wrong for her to abandon us?' within my head. I was only 9. He told me what death was and, "mama has a serious illness and cannot be cured." I couldn't believe it, thoughts raced through my head and I teared up but did not want to cry in front of my father because I didn't want to add on pain for him. He also told me,"She loves us and would never leave us but none of us can help her get better, doctors tried but they were afraid of it getting worse or causing her to leave earlier, we all have to be strong for her alright?...(etc)". After the whole talk, I would sit in a corner of a room, lights off, door closed and cry to myself at night; blaming myself for causing her to be ill because I used to be a pain in the butt while I was younger and my mom had to scold me a lot. The talk I had with my father really got to me and I said to myself, "I have to grow up and change! Be more responsible and not be a pain in the butt for mother and anyone for the internal and external family! Mom will not be sick any longer so DO IT!! SAVE MOM." I lied to myself and prayed for her to get better but in the end, she had to leave the world. I was never a normal 9 year old after the day, she left. I went to starting 4th grade and just closed myself in, not wanting to play with other kids, couldn't think about anything else but her. I wanted her to come back more than anything but from the talk i had with my dad, I knew she cannot come back because she was in heaven now. I grew up and had to be the "woman" of the house and helped my father with stuff around the house.
A year later, I had another talk with my father about scooters, everyone had a scooter back then and it was the "trend" and it was "cool." I was very clumsy, I would trip every time i walked outside....just very very clumsy. He told me not to go on one because I would fall. He didn't want me to get hurt so he tried to protect me, "Daughter, I don't want you to get hurt, just stay here with all the grown ups and talk with us,"but I did not listen. I got on one, I felt the wind breezing through my hair and hit my face rolling down the pavement and away from the area where my dad and the other grownups in the family sat. But then my uncle and cousin who was on a electric one, started to drive behind me and I got scared that they would hit me. I went faster, kicking my leg to make it move and looking behind me, being a clumsy person I was, I hit a rock the size of a tennis ball and held onto the scooter handles. Usually people would let go and protect themselves from falling with their hands but that wasn't the case for me. I flew over the scooter and crashed onto the tar pavement and slid a bit. I finally let go of it when I hit the floor. I got up and cousins were screaming for their lives and saying, "Aiya!!!!! (chinese- omg!!!!!) HER FACE IS BLEEDING AND HALF OF HER FACE IS MISSING SKIN!"
It didn't hurt but then I panicked and the pain rushed through my entire body, tears falling down my face, and blood dripping. My 2nd eldest brother was there and he ran as quickly over to my dad and told him, "BA (chinese- father) She got hurt, her face is bloody and skin is missing!!" Both of them rushed over to me--dad and uncle took me inside and they dragged me over to the sink and cleansed my face. It burned like nothing I had ever experienced before. They cleansed it and bandaged it but they didn't know that a tar pebble was stuck in my face. Over time, my skinned healed back to normal and it healed over the tar pebble as well. We went to the doctors to get out the tar pebble but there is scar tissue still, with a fair visibility still. It will be with my forever and it taught me a valuable lesson to never question my dad and also that I should think if it is reasonable before acting upon it. From that day on, I never ever dared to touch a scooter again.

My eldest brother, he is another person who impacted/important in my life. Without him, I would not know what to do within my education. He is the one who helped me with my homework when I was younger and showed me the side of Art. We would spend hours talking about art too, I was interested in it ever since the 1st art class in kindergarten and he would show me his old drawings he did in his elementary/high school years; of malls, snoopy, landscape, and buildings(mostly architecture structures). I was very inspired. He told me that 'no one can choose a path for you in the future of what you want to do, influences sure, but its your decision and do whatever makes you happy in life, not what makes others happy.' Art will always be a passion of mine and my eldest brother gave me more knowledge about the subject. (:
My father and eldest brother (plus my 2nd eldest brother too but not stated in this post) are people who had important/impact-ful conversations with me throughout my life. Without these conversations and lessons that i learned of these past events in my life, I would not be the person that I am now. They are my loved ones and forever be the ones I will love. I'll never forget these conversations and the many ones in the past; and the ones yet to come in the future ^^.

Part 1: Creative Nonfiction Assignment.

Genius Name: NinjaHoneyBee

Bonet: Hey NinjaHoneyBee!

NinjaHoneyBee: Hey gurl lol, What's up??

Bonet: I need some help thinking about what to write for my Creative Nonfiction Assignment for Creative Writing Class. It has to contain 5 ideas about a conversation I had with a family member of mine. It should be important and impact-ful. Umm, I cannot think of any at the moment though.... :|

NinjaHoneyBee: It's okay, I'll help you out ^_^
How about the time when you were in 5th grade at your cousin's house on your mom's side and you and your father talked about how you should not go on the scooter because you were very clumsy but you didn't listen and fell, causing you to scrape half of the skin off of your face?

Bonet: Oh yeah, I forgot about that time....I still have a mini scar on my face from that time; it was very important, impact-ful of one point in my life because it taught me a lesson to think if it was reasonable before taking action. I should have listen to my father.

NinjaHoneyBee: you know, they are right most of the time even though we don't want to admit it lol. And how about the time when your oldest brother talked to you about art and it inspired you?

Bonet: I still clearly remember the drawings of his he showed me when he was in elementary school drawing the whole layout of a mall with details. It was an impact-ful point in life for myself as well because it opened a new passion of mine.

NinjaHoneyBee: Yes, and how about the time when your dad talked to you when you were 9 about what was happening to your mom, her being sick, and where she was going?

Bonet: Oh yeah....But I do not really want to talk about the sad points in my life....

NinjaHoneyBee: Well, was it impact-ful and important?

Bonet: It was definitely impact-ful and important since I had to basically grow up at a very young age and could not really be a normal 9 year old, being careless and having fun with friends.

NinjaHoneyBee: You should consider writing about a time with your Dad or combining both, your dad and oldest brother. You can include many details from those points in your life in your creative writing assignment~ Just do your best and remember to have fun.

Bonet: ((: aw ! Thank you, NinjaHoneyBee!! TTYL

NinjaHoneyBee: I'm always here to help ^^. TTYL.
